Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is also known as endodontic therapy. It is the process of repairing and saving a badly damaged or infected tooth.
Once the tooth is fully anesthetized (numb) an opening in the tooth is made to gain access to the pulp and nerves. Through a series a files the nerves are removed and the canals are cleaned and disinfected. The canals and chamber are then filled and sealed and a temporary or permanent filling is placed.
