Meet The Team

Dr. Larry Goldstein

General Dentist

Dr. Larry Goldstein graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He opened his first practice almost 40 years ago and has always provided quality care. He is committed to a very personal concern for his patients on an approach that is casual yet professional, creating an environment that is pleasant, not intimidating. Dr. Goldstein loves what he does and thrives, along with his associates, to put his patient’s best interests first.

In his spare time he attends continuing education courses that keep him up to date on all the latest procedures, he is an avid tennis player and long-distance bike rider.

Dr. Goldstein has built a patient base in mid-town Toronto over his many years of practice. His practical, customer service-oriented approach, has been a pillar of his practice over many decades.

Dr. Jimmy Chen

General Dentist

Dr. Jimmy Chen, a McGill University dental school alumnus of 2006, furthered his expertise with a year-long Philadelphia residency focusing on emergency care, trauma, and implant surgery. Post-residency, he spent three years in Ottawa, engaging in private practice, mobile dentistry, and teaching before returning to his hometown, Toronto.

Dr. Chen is dedicated to understanding each patient’s unique needs, offering personalized dental care that treats the individual as a whole. He makes dental visits comfortable for anxious patients, employing techniques for painless anesthesia delivery. Dr. Chen’s commitment to patient care is evident in his ability to build trust and see his patients return with a smile, marking the most rewarding aspect of his practice.

He is now accepting new patients and is available to support your oral health and dental needs at Yonge and Lawrence.

Dr. Kristy Zhang

General Dentist

Dr. Kristy Zhang received her Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University. She then received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University. She is an honorary member of the OKU (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) US National Dental Honorary Society. She is also a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (Canadian Dental Association) and the RCDSO (Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario).

Currently serving as a general dentist, Dr. Zhang is renowned for her holistic approach to dentistry, emphasizing the importance of addressing both the dental needs and overall well-being of her patients. Her commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of her work.

Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Dr. Zhang enriches her life outside the clinic with hobbies, including playing badminton, engaging in computer games, and cherishing moments with her family, friends, and beloved puppy.

Infection Control Methods & Technology

The health and safety of our patients is our #1 priority. We go above and beyond to ensure that our instruments and operatories are disinfected and sterilized according to the RCDSO, CDC guidelines.

Sterilization is a complex process requiring specialized equipment, adequate space, qualified staff, and regular monitoring for quality assurance.

We package and seal our instruments then sterilize them in an autoclave using steam under pressure. Biological indicators are used on a daily basis to ensure proper sterilization has been achieved.

Monitors/TVs

There’s no room for guess work! We want to ensure that you have all the information you need to make informed and educated decisions about you and your family’s oral health. That’s why we provide monitors in every exam and hygiene room. When your doctor is explaining your treatment plan, you’ve got all the facts, backed up by visuals.

Digital X-Rays

We use digital x-ray technology. Not only do the clarity of the images result in a more accurate diagnosis than your typical x-ray, but the images are produced instantly, enabling us to make quicker treatment recommendations. Digital x-rays produce 80% less radiation than your typical x-ray machine!

Laser Gum Recontouring

If you feel like you have a “gummy” smile, or your gums are too low (receding gums), you may be a good candidate for laser gum recontouring. Laser gum recontouring is the process of surgically correcting and reshaping the gums. While this can be considered a cosmetic dentistry procedure, gum surgery is often required as an integral part of various dental surgeries and restorative treatments. Laser gum recontouring is a minor procedure with a typically quick healing time.
